Description: With the rapid changes invoked by the digital age, many people are questioning their purpose and whether or not what they are doing in life is of value or in alignment with their life.  Of course there are many aspects to finding and living our life purpose, but in this session we’ll focus on patterns generated by some lingering nun karma that stop us from moving forward.  Read more at…

Just so you know, this is an opportunity for me to break out of an old pattern of sticking to the familiar and what I know and trying out a new piece of technology that may actually serve you better.  We’ll see. Please join me for this adventure and hopefully besides the repatterning you’ll get something else out of this as well.

You are invited to my Free Nun Karma Group Proxy Repatterning where we’ll use the Nun Karma Release repatterning, one person as a proxy or voice for the group and repattern our soul vision for fulfillment in order to support our purpose.  I’ll explain a bit about repatterning at the beginning and take questions at the end.

Is Your Life Purpose Challenged? – Resonate with Your Soul Vision of Fulfillment

with 5 comments

If a past life karma has kept you tied to an old evolutionary pattern of seclusion, guilt, martyrdom, or invisibility etc you may be experiencing this as a lack of clarity for your soul’s purpose in this current life and especially at this time in history.   The information and digital age is changing paradigms and systems at a rapid rate.   Printed things like books and newspapers are falling out of favor for cheaper online versions, music is more popular now on mp3’s and we are connected to each other in time and space by a variety of mobile devices not just a computer.  The global economies are replacing daytime soap operas for real life drama, and regimes are being challenged by the masses supported by Twitter feeds.  Even His Holiness the Dalai Lama cannot be kept from a celebration for Desmond Tutu in South Africa– Google Plus connected him with their version of Skype for the world to see.  Visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_HqVFEzY2U to view the video.    Last week the passing of the iconic Steve Jobs of Apple Inc, caused many especially in the tech world to question what they are doing with their lives and their purpose.   Perhaps those with lingering Nun Karma are also feeling the same.

In a past generation and/or  life times our purpose was largely defined for us.  We were told by virtue of our social class, economic standing or education or other parameters who we are, what to believe, and what our purpose in life was to be.  All that has changed of course in the last 50 years, but never more powerfully than with the advent of the digital age where anyone with a social network can be their own broadcaster.   Fast forward to this lifetime and today.  It can be a very difficult time if outdated karmic vows are keeping us loyal to an old system, group or belief system where our purpose is defined for us and our lives are laid out from there.  If we were raised with a particular set of beliefs, rules or understanding of what life and our place in it was about, we feel loyal, innocent and good if we stick to these ideas. However, a changing world around us may make that difficult to maintain.  Really difficult!

Our confusion around purpose may have more to do with having one foot in the past and another in the digital age.  You might think – okay – all I have to do is renounce the past life karma or old regimes however, if the new way of being doesn’t have a new soul purpose defined we’ll definitely feel confused. Each new wave of technology and accompanying social change will leave our purpose  feeling fuzzy at best.

After releasing karmic vows we need new vows for a soul vision of fulfillment that meets with the demands of the age that is upon us and allows us to contribute in a meaningful way.

If your soul’s purpose needs a little help, try doing the Nun Karma Repatterning beginning with a statement of what you feel your purpose is as far as  you know it today.  Go through the repatterning as directed but focus particularly on the statements on page 24 point #12 for Soul Vision of Fulfillment and select the statements that feel right for you at this moment.  Just reading the statements may help you find clarity in your true purpose or at the very least invoke a new perspective.

I will be doing another free Nun Karma repatterning this time via Google + Hangouts on October 15th at  4:15PM Eastern.   A Hangout as I mentioned above is Google’s version of Skype – so you will be able to see me with a webcam (and I will see you!).  It’s pretty easy – actually easier than other similar things I have used.   Everyone is welcome to attend but you’ll need a Google Plus account to get there.   Read the announcement post for all the details.

Comments welcomed.

Nun Karma and Mercury Retrograde

On August 2, 2011 astrologers tell us that the planet Mercury goes retrograde for the second time this year. Every retrograde gives us an opportunity to slow down, put things in order, de-clutter etc and other actions depending on where Mercury is situated on the astrological calendar.

According to my colleague astrologer Julie Simmons, this Mercury retrograde continues on a theme of ‘the end of the end and not quite the beginning of the beginning. Chaos, change and revolution.’ ..writes Julie Simmons in her recent post. This may well be a great time to reflect on the Nun Karma patterns operating in our life as an outmoded thought pattern we need to let go of.

For example, many people carry a consciousness of poverty and while they strive for a healthier financial outlook, have difficulty doing so. When sudden money shows ups (inheritance, lottery, unexpected back pay) they can’t put it toward their own personal financial goals or security.  They feel compelled to give it away to family, particularly parents, or friends or perhaps charitable causes.  The deeper the karmic bond the faster they part with that new found money.   The sticky  underlying pattern is a systemic loyalty with our old relationship to the divine, governed by an outgrown level of consciousness.   It is our past life thinking operating in real time today! The karmic vow of poverty is no longer relevant but we suffer it consequences just the same.

This Mercury retrograde (August 2-26th) offers the opportunity to examine these patterns and reflect on how they are showing up in our lives. Mercury retrograde gives us the opportunity to let go of an entrenched pattern and plan for a new one.   The Nun Karma repatterning will provide you with many ideas on the type of past life karmic pattern you are holding.

Reflecting on the Mercury retrograde aspects coming up together with your Nun karma patterns may help you achieve new insights and awareness of the things your energy system is now ready to let go of.  Doing this type of inner work may trigger some resistance.  Who wants to let go of an old habitual way of thinking?  But if we do the work by August 26th we’ll be recharged with a great new perspective for our lives.

Can we create new vows?

leave a comment »

Here’s a letter we received recently from Rachel Blackwell who has been using the Nun Karma Repatterning and asks:

Dear Gail and the ‘Nun Karma’ team,

I am a Resonance Repatterning Practitioner and I wanted to thank you for creating this repatterning.  These archetypes are so powerfully held within many of us drawn to healing and I have used this repatterning several times recently.

I have some feedback that has arisen out of a repatterning I did with a client recently, who I have worked with for a number of years.

Just before the end of the repatterning, which flowed really well, she shared that she felt uncomfortable about the whole idea of new vows, that vows are a sacred process that historically you would have spent time preparing for and that she wanted to know what she had signed up for.  Of course I explained that really they were new positive beliefs and goals in alignment with her energy now and that they were empowering and not limiting.  However, because the meaning of ‘vows’ has such a strong resonance to people (which is why the repatterning is so good) the terminology in that piece and echo of ritual was not helpful, and tends to reinforce an outmoded idea.  We resolved the situation by doing a positive statement around releasing what no longer served her and that she was not bound by any of the statements.

I do appreciate and understand the intention behind the sections on new vows but feel that the language used doesn’t support full empowerment.

I hope that this feedback is useful and look forward to hearing from you.

With warm wishes and blessings, Rachel Blackwell

Does anyone have any thoughts on this question?

STOP HIDING!

with one comment

Lately I’ve become aware of just how much most of us (myself included) continue to hide behind false modesty, being good and a reluctance to fully present our gifts. It’s as though we’re still in veil and wimple. This was pointed out to me by a marketing friend who was evaluating websites I’d written. “They’re fine”, she said, “but you have to stop hiding!”

Aha! She had spotted another aspect of Nun Karma at work! So many of our websites start out with generic language that describes a service. Her website goes boldly to the point: “My name is Kristin Zhivago. I’ve been helping CEOs and entrepreneurs market and sell more effectively for years.”

So I took her advice and have started to root out language that keeps us hidden. One client, Arcady Mediation, no longer starts with a discussion of intractable arguments. Instead it presents the owner right from the beginning as: “I’m a Boston area mediator and conflict resolution coach. I help companies like yours get through the sticky wickets of business conflicts—so you reach new solutions that move you and your company forward.”

Another client now claims her power up front by saying: “I’m an Episcopal priest and a performance consultant. I help executives make better business decisions faster

And my website now begins: “My name is Gail Glanville, and I am a brand makeover coach. I help caring entrepreneurs refresh their identities and marketing strategies when they’ve grown too stale or small.”

I’ve now realized how many layers there are to good girl Nun Karma and how we continue to hide even though we know better, so I hope this insight helps!

Have you fully set aside your veil and wimple? I’d love to know.
